Lemon, Ginger & Turmeric Elixer

I've been off my usual diet & exercise routine for the past few weeks while traveling.

Last week I started to feel a bit sick so I pulled out lemon, ginger and turmeric. This simple but powerful trio are keeping me healthy! 

Make this recipe when you feel a tickle in your throat or when you want something yummy to sip on.


  • 1 Lemon
  • 3 cloves of garlic (cut or shaved)
  • 2 Table spoons of turmeric (peeled and cut or shaved)
  • 3 Cups of water

Put your water in a sauce pan and heat. Next, cut up your garlic and turmeric and add it to the water. Add in half of your lemon. Let your ingredients simmer and right before it boils, take the pot off the stove. Let your elixer slightly cool and enjoy!

Make several cups throughout the day and add honey or pineapple (my favorite) for sweetness.
